Children's Birthday Food Drive

Posted by CareShare Web on July 18, 2017 at 2:15 PM

Camryn (3) and Ryder (5) Cook wanted to celebrate their birthdays by collecting food to give to kids who don’t have enough to eat. Family and friends attending the joint birthday party for Camryn and Ryder brought food items and snacks for children. Camryn, Ryder and their mother Megan donated the items to Care Share Mission Food Pantry on Thursday July 13. There to receive the food donation gifts are (left to right) Megan, Ryder, and Camryn Cook, Russel Jowell, Jan Parks, Denise McManus and Vicki Jowell. “We are so thankful to Camryn and Ryder for helping Care Share provide food for children, especially during the summer months.” Megan’s mom, Marla Ingram, volunteered at Care Share several years ago and Megan remembers how Care Share helped the community. Megan said “Collecting food for birthdays will become a family tradition.”
